“Philadelphia Experiment” At Cern?
(Conspiracy Nation, 05/05/08) – This is layman's speculation, but an offshoot of the mysterious WWII “Philadelphia Experiment” could begin this summer using the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at Cern, near Geneva, Switzerland.
The Philadelphia Experiment is said to have taken place in 1943. The hope was to make a ship invisible to radar. Involved was a “bending of light.” The experiment, reportedly, was “too successful.” Bending light not only thwarted radar, but the ship, the USS Eldridge, along with her crew, allegedly became briefly invisible. Bizarre after-effects were reported. (The latest thinking on the Philadelphia Experiment is found in, “Secrets Of The Unified Field”, by Joseph P. Farrell. Adventures Unlimited Press, 2008)
Briefly mentioned in an April 14, 2008 report by Conspiracy Nation was “black holes” to be propagated at Cern. (“Strange Cooling Attacks Earth”, http://www.shout.net/~bigred/StrangeCooling.html) So-called “micro black holes” are to be created. A fear is that these “black holes” -- extremely dense matter – might suck in, via gravitation, the entire planet. But Farrell's (op. cit.) intriguing book suggests to this editor that ramifications of the Philadelphia Experiment could be involved.
In “Wild Speculations Of Michael Faraday” (http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Faraday.html) it was discussed how Michael Faraday, the brilliant 19th-century “father of electricity” had, in his last years, tried in vain to convert gravity into electricity. This involves the idea of a “unified field,” with gravity, magnetism, light, and electricity being variations of some basic force. Farrell (op. cit.) delves into this theory in his book. Officially, “unified field” was pushed aside. Unofficially, however, it may be still part of a “secret physics” deemed too frightening for the masses.
Farrell's book is complex in its explanation of “unified field,” torsion tensors, the geometry of space-time, and hyperspace. Dr. Theodor Kaluza had introduced a “fifth dimension” into the geometry of space-time. Four dimensions were space, and the fifth dimension was time. Dr. Kaluza's fourth spatial dimension was calculated to be “of the extraordinarily small size of the Planck Length...” (Farrell, op. cit.) It is speculated by the Conspiracy Nation editor, admittedly a layman in such matters, that the “micro black holes” to be created at Cern might involve Dr. Kaluza's fourth spatial dimension. This would resonate with ideas tested in the alleged Philadelphia Experiment.
