-- Detective Charlie Chan of the Honolulu Police has agreed to tackle
the mystery of the July 7th (7/7) London bombings. No one will be telling Detective Chan, "Um, Charlie, you can't
look there." Like a bloodhound on the scent, Chan will follow the trail
wherever it leads, even into the
ranks of high society. Ultimately, the suspects will be assembled in a drawing room and Detective Chan, like a spinning roulette wheel, will slowly circle the gathering. At last he will halt before one of the suspects and he will quietly say, "You... You are murderer." (See "Murder By Death," http://www.shout.net/~bigred/MurDeath.html) Chan inherits a case whose trail has not yet grown cold. He
replaces Inspector Fudd of Scotland Yard, whose inconsistent public
statements soon ruined his credibility. With confidence in the prowess
of Fudd's investigation rapidly evaporating, a top-notched prober was
needed. Hence, Chan has been brought in. |
Almost immediately after the London bombings, Fudd had ineptly
circumscribed the investigation by artificially limiting it to radical
Islamic extremists. His "Earmarks and Hallmarks" statement was widely
criticized ,
causing a loss of confidence amongst the public. (See, e.g.,
"'Earmarks' and 'Hallmarks' of 7/7," http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Earmarks.html)
"The 'earmarks' and 'hallmarks' could lead as easily to a government
operation as to a terrorist one," stated one man, who asked not to be
identified. "How could Islamic terrorists have lowered the alert level?
How could they have siphoned off security? How could terrorists arrange
officially-sponsored 'exercises' on July 7th?"
The revelation that uncommon government-sponsored anti-terror
exercises were
happening in London on the very day of the bombings was reported by
Alex Jones. ("London Underground Bombing 'Exercises' Took Place at Same
Time as Real Attack," http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2005/090705bombingexercises.htm)
This is uncanny, since government-sponsored exercises also occurred on
September 11, 2001, the very day of the 9/11 events.
"'Earmarks' and 'hallmarks' indeed!" reiterated the man.
A good summary of emerging inconsistencies in the official portrayal
of 7/7 was provided today by the World Socialist Web Site. ("Unanswered
questions in London bombings," http://www.wsws.org/articles/2005/jul2005/lond-j11.shtml)
The author, Chris Marsden, points out, "No one knows who committed the
atrocity. There are a number of unanswered questions, about which
contradictory statements have been made."
Stated Chan: "Inconsistencies like bad plumbing: hard to flush."
Echoing the already closed-minded perceptions of what happened on
July 7th, a supposedly liberal web site has imposed strict censorship
on discussion of the London bombings. The Daily Kos, "an unabashedly
Democratic blog," has banned "bullsh** conspiracy theories." The editor
complains such alternative views do not belong in his "Reality Based
Community." http://dailykos.com/story/2005/7/8/114856/8349
Detective Chan, disliking artificial limits to inquiry, commented in
his inscrutable way, "Reality like mirror: different people see
different things."
Inspector Fudd is reportedly miffed at being replaced by Chan. But
critics of Fudd welcomed the change. "He had become obsessed by his
'Wascal Wabbit' theory, to the exclusion of all else. His fixation
closed off other avenues of investigation, harming what ought to be a
complete inquiry."
