(Conspiracy Nation, 04/13/06)
-- Not reported by mainstream media (with the exception of the
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) is a recent visit by Nation Of Islam Mullah
Louis Farrakhan to Cuba.
According to James G. Muhammad, writing in the Chicago Defender,
Farrakhan advises, "The U.S. Government must become more neighborly to
other countries in order to avert the divine destruction that has
visited former great and powerful nations." (http://www.chicagodefender.com/page/local.cfm?ArticleID=4650)
Increasing "neighborliness" with Mexico has been reported upon
previously by Conspiracy Nation.
(See "The Gulliver Strategy," http://www.shout.net/~bigred/GulliverStrategy.html)
Give us more "neighborliness" or else there will be "divine
destruction" is the apparent threat. Muhammad clarifies this by
explaining "America is witnessing more frequent and stronger natural
disasters."
Forget about a supposed danger from global warming. Any increase of
severe weather events this season is divine retribution, that's all.
Farrakhan and his entourage were impressed by how Cuba micro-manages
her citizens, "house by house, block by block and street by street."
And "The Nation of Islam plans to share the information with groups
such as the NAACP and the National Urban League." (Muhammad, op. cit.)
A cynical view would be, Louis Farrakhan has gone to Cuba to receive
advice from Fidel Castro. Returning to the U.S., the Nation Of Islam
disseminates the learned strategies to the NAACP and the National Urban
League. These groups, in turn, have "roving ambassadors" who stir up
trouble in this nation during "the long hot summer." Farrakhan
reportedly fears "the stress being felt by the American people is
beginning to fuel a sense of uprising inside the U.S." (Ibid.)
Don't say "riots." Say "uprising."
Besides the "roving ambassadors" there are also Ministers in the
hierarchy, such as Nation Of Islam Education Minister Conrad W. Worrill
and Rasul Muhammad, minister of Science and Technology for NOI. Worrill
reportedly was particularly pleased by his visit to Cuba's Social
Workers School, where he found "a revolutionary concept in the training
of the students." ("US Newspaper Distorts Farrakhan Visit to Cuba," by
Circles Robinson. Prensa Latina. http://www.plenglish.com/article.asp?ID=%7B2EA76C1E-2428-4251-A34E-149F56E43205%7D)&language=EN)
Farrakhan reportedly is outraged by U.S. government handling of the
Hurricane Katrina disaster. He perceives "that real estate agents are
taking advantage of the situation, and since New Orleans was primarily
populated by blacks, it appears that politicians do not want them to
return." ("Farrakhan Blasts Preventive War Strategy on Cuba TV
Program," by Roberto Perez Betancourt. http://www.ahora.cu/english/SECTIONS/national/2006/Marzo/28-03-06.htm)
The latest Rolling Stone
magazine also carries a disturbing report on how the Katrina tragedy
has been handled. The "door has been opened for the casinos and the
carpetbaggers," writes Matt Taibbi. Is this typical government
ineptitude, or is it yet again corrupt wheeling and dealing by a
political/business alliance? ("How To Steal A Coastline." Rolling Stone, April 20, 2006)
Talk about the nation being "polarized": on the one hand there are
the profiteers of war and disaster; on the other you have insurrection
seeping in through our so-called "borders."
Farrakhan and Friends also return from Havana bearing new understanding about "The Cuban Five." These cinco compadres are reportedly "five Cuban political prisoners incarcerated in US prisons." The Right Honorable Mighty Farrakan was "visibly moved" as he learned more about the "Cuban Five," courtesy of Fidel Castro. The Cuban Five were spies, okay. But they were good spies. They, according to Cuba's new Internet presence, "were part of a group to infiltrate terrorist organizations within the Cuban community in the United States that were planning terrorist actions against the government and the people of Cuba." ("Leader of Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, pledges his organizations support for the Cuban Five," by www.trabajadores.co.cu. http://www.politicalaffairs.net/article/articleview/3071/1/158/)
Responding to Farrakhan et al.'s newfound enlightenment, now being fomented in the U.S., the DemoPublican Duopoly government in Washington, DC scorned his awakening. Cuba is "a totalitarian state" and Farrakhan did not receive much of an education, they argued.
