Inverted Tree Spells Trouble?

Just innocent fun, correct? Perhaps not: historian Sheryl
Karas, author of The
Solstice Evergreen: The History, Folklore and Origins of the Christmas
Tree, says "The tree symbolically points to Heaven so that
inverting the tree could be seen as sinister if one thought about it

"The game is afoot," said fictional character Sherlock Holmes.
Portents abound, though most choose not to see. How many steps on the
front landing? You climb it each day, yet
do not see.
Suddenly arrives an inverted Christmas tree. Most are too busy
to realize this is an omen. We
are on solid ground to recognize the omen; things grow fuzzy, however,
during interpretations. An inverted tree foreshadowing disappointing
retail sales this holiday season? Perhaps.

A reader of Conspiracy Nation
relays the news that his friend has noticed they now wear dark clothes
on television. His friend spots the omen and interprets something
sinister. But maybe this is only a fashion trend? Or might it signify,
the nation is in a "dark mood"? Recognizing the omen is one thing;
interpreting it is something else.
Portents today at the Yahoo astrology web site. Writes Mark Lerner,
in planetary observations not linked to any particular sign: "Out of
the frying pan and into the fire! Last week was one of the more
turbulent cosmic energy periods of 2005. Now - as Thanksgiving and the
annual, holiday buying frenzy approaches - Saturn gets into the act.."
Saturn, planet of limitations, to dampen a crucial shopping mood?
"Ouch! It is very difficult to put a smiling face on this
double-whammy."
It is the changing of the guard at the so-called "Federal" Reserve."
Departing is Alan Greenspan, Knight of the British Empire (KBE).
Arriving is Ben Bernanke, a Princeton economist. In this transitional
period, bankruptcy laws have been tightened and interest rates are on
the rise. Add in the "Fed" announcement it will be hiding the M3 data
come March 2006, and one can't help sniffing out amazing coincidences.
An omen, yes; but what does it mean?
Suppose a congress-person were to ask Ben Bernanke about it:
Congress-person: Excuse me,
Dr. Bernanke, but why would they be
hiding the M3 numbers?
Bernanke: I don't know. Ask
Greenspan.
Suppose then the congress-person asks Alan Greenspan about it:
Congress-person: Mr.
Greenspan, why would they be hiding
the M3 numbers?
Greenspan: I don't know. Ask
Bernanke.
A neat trick, for them to
be doing this during transition from former "Fed" chief to latest "Fed"
chief!
The M3 Omen
So again we have the omen, here the cover-up of M3 data; however
once more interpreting its significance is the hard part.
Robert McHugh offers this interpretation: "It's simple, really. So
that the Plunge Protection Team can hide its market manipulative,

Plunge Protection Team (PPT) repeatedly intervenes to avert a stock
market crash, infusing emergency cash into Wall Street. But this is nothing new, so again: why would they be hiding the M3 numbers?
"Captain Hook" (pseudonym) sees a different meaning: "they are
effectively removing all of our reliable tools to discern exactly what
they are doing, where for all intents and purposes, they will be able
to debase the Dollar at any rate they wish after March of next year,

"Debase the dollar" means, "run the printing presses non-stop,"
flooding the economy with dollars and thereby lessening value. Dollar
value drops, prices rise, and ponderous economists appear pretending to
wonder about inflation. We look for the M3 data, but the M3 data has vanished!!

interprets the M3 omen to
signify a stealth tax.
So-called inflation is commonly refered to as a "hidden tax." How to
pay for balooning government deficits? They don't dare raise taxes any
more. What about downsizing the government, laying off various
bureaucrats? Out of the question! Those bureaucrats have accumulated so
much dirt detailing insider government corruption that, were they to be
furloughed, or forced permanently from their comfy jobs, there would be an avalanche of revelations!
Even hardened conspiracy theorists would be stunned by what has been
going on in Washington, DC. Those government bureaucrats hold explosive
blackmail documents guaranteeing them their sinecures. So, in the Conspiracy Nation interpretation,
hidden M3 data will hide partial debt

Koppel's Eerie Retirement
On October 7th of this year, Conspiracy
Nation noticed Ted Koppel's imminent retirement, to coincide
with the anniversary date of John F. Kennedy's assassination. (http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Koppel.html)
"This is not to say that Ted Koppel knowingly chose Nov. 22; instead, a
sort of deeper universal consciousness, Jung's 'collective
unconscious,' has chosen the date."
A further omen is, the peak oil
omen. Naysayers to this particular omen argue, "Fossil fuels is
not the origin of oil. Therefore, oil is a natural product of earth.
So, we have unlimited oil."
These naysayers are correct insofar as the accepted explanation for
oil's origin is wrong. It does not come from decaying ferns or fossils.
But that does not mean the oil is
unlimited. Suppression of Immanuel Velikovsky's and Ignatius
Donnelly's planets in collision theory has caused the true origin of

Michael Ruppert and the peak oil crowd also err, when they attach
invariably negative meaning to the decline of oil. Why must they supply meaning to the event?
Here is a different meaning: The
tyranny of oil is ending!! We are on the verge of liberation
from the energy monopoly. Furthermore, since, as Peter Dale Scott has
pointed out, drugs and oil go hand-in-hand, it will no longer be
necessary to artificially inflate marijuana prices via a "war on
drugs." Even the dour cassandra James Howard Kunstler (The Long Emergency)
reluctantly admits, "The New World
Order is dead."
All these are omens, undeniably so. The interpretations here
offered, though, are fuzzy, based on signs seen this day, November 21,
2005.
