How to set up PPP under Windows 95 with
Shouting Ground Technologies

This procedure assumes that you have a Modem installed and properly configured. If not, go into the Control Panels and open the "Add New Hardware" control panel. My Computer->Control Panel->Add New Hareware)

1. Install the Dial-up Adapter

If anything needs to be installed, you will need your Windows 95 install disks/CDROM. Note: When rebooting, Windows 95 might ask you for a name and password, something it probably wasn't doing before. If so, type in your Shouting Ground username in the appropriate field, and make the password blank.

2. Add TCP/IP support

Note: Windows 95 typically installs more network components than you need. In most configurations, you can remove "NetBEUI" and "IPX/SPX" support. To do this, click once on the corresponding network component, and click the "Remove" button. You will have to do this for each unnecessary protocol.

3. Configure TCP/IP

Couldn't display DNS Dialog

4. Final Configuration

The final result should look the following:

Couldn't display Server-Type Dialog
Click "OK".
