What we receive
Guest Identification Cards
Units may issue guest identification cards to faculty or staff partners
or spouses.

Both the library and the Intramural
Physical Education Building (IMPE) issue such cards.
Domestic partners are eligible for family and medical leave and bereavementleave
benefits. (See Academic Staff Handbook, 2000-2002, pp. 24-25).
Employees can designate their partners as the beneficiary of the life
insurance policy. Any employee may designate any person as the beneficiary.
What we do not receive
Domestic partners are currently not eligible for coverage under their
partners’ insurance benefits.
Domestic partners are not eligible for the spousal hiring program.
