Bookends Of Jamestown

(Conspiracy Nation, 06/27/07) – A puzzling remark made by George W. Bush at the recent 400-year Jamestown festivities has been pondered by this editor. “Dubya” Bush said, in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II, something indicating she had been present at the start of Jamestown, in 1607.

In a way, the Queen Mum had been present in 1607. Another Elizabeth, the first one, played a role in the Jamestown colony. Queen Elizabeth I had recently passed away in 1607, so “Jamestown” is named after King James I. However Virginia is ostensibly named after the “Virgin Queen” Elizabeth I. (It's not actually named “Virginia” in honor of Elizabeth. The state seal depicts Athena, a virgin goddess.)

So in a way, Dubya Bush was noting the bookends nature of the 400-year Jamestown event. The “bookends” being the two Queen Elizabeths.

It would be uncanny if the “bookends” theme were more than symbolic. They embrace the “New Atlantis” experiment created by Francis Bacon, secret child of the “virgin” Queen Elizabeth. (See book by the late Virginia Fellows, The Shakespeare Code.) Queen Elizabeth II, in this scenario, marks the literal end of the noble experiment.

Look around you. The housing bubble is collapsing. Government debt has skyrocketed. Oil supplies are diminishing, disguised as concern about “global warming.” Dubya Bush, in last Saturday's radio address, actually stated, “We cannot defend our borders.” (He qualified the statement with “unless we pass the immigration bill.” But he basically did say, “We cannot defend our borders.”) Plenty of other bad signs can be mentioned.

At this point there are assembled only some of the puzzle pieces. “We're just trying to do this jig-saw puzzle, before it rains any more.” (Rolling Stones) The news from Tony Blair, Britain's outgoing Prime Minister, of his conversion to Roman Catholicism, is another question mark. Those who can look back to King Henry VIII and his defiance of Rome will understand the significance of a British Prime Minister embracing Catholicism. The deeper question is, When did Blair become Catholic? Blair's wife, Cherie, is a long-time declared, ardent Catholic. British newspapers have described her as “the wicked witch.” Tony Blair is an obvious “Mama's boy.” Who wears the pants in the Blair household? Cherie Blair dared to wear white at a recent meeting with Pope Ben-Edict XVI. Only women of Catholic royalty are allowed to do so; most other women must wear black when meeting the Pope. Britain's Sun newspaper reportedly refered to Tony Blair, during his time of being Prime Minister, as “Pope Tony.” (Source: The Week, June 29, 2007. Page 5 column by Susan Caskie)

George W. Bush last year purchased an enormous estate in Paraguay, reputedly a Jesuit state. When Dubya moves to Paraguay, it will be impossible for him to be extradited. Rome will protect him from U.S. justice, as it once protected one of the Lincoln assassination conspirators. After meeting with Pope Ben-Edict earlier this month (wife Laura wore black), Dubya flew back to our “New Atlantis” carrying an imperative: “The immigration bill must be passed!”

The late Father Malachi Martin emphasizes, in his thought-provoking book, The Jesuits, the pre-eminence on this continent of Spain's “Most Catholic Majesties.” Most Catholic Spain laid claim to the New World more than 100 years before Jamestown. Things have see-sawed over the years, with Jesuit front-man Fidel Castro re-taking Cuba in 1959. The Most Catholic Majesties via their “rapid deployment force,” the Jesuits, grabbed hold of Nicaragua in the 1980s. Base communities organized in the Mexican state of Chiapas. An invading Catholic army, wearing no uniform and disguised as humble Mexicans, marched northward.

And yours truly is waiting so patiently, just trying to do this jig-saw puzzle.
