2:15 To Booma

(Conspiracy Nation, 09/18/07) – A recent film, “3:10 To Yuma,” portrays a classic Western showdown. At 2:15 EST today, the “Federal” Reserve will make an announcement on rates. It is the “2:15 To Booma.”

Previously, Conspiracy Nation reported on “Fed” chief Ben Bernanke's upcoming “Moment Of Truth” (“Supercapitalism And The Rate Cut,” http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Supercapitalism.html). Spoiler Warning: For those who have not seen the movie, read no further.

“2:15 To Booma” has a surprise ending. The “Fed” leaves rates unchanged for now. One of the tricks of the film is to all but declare the rates are certain to be lowered. The audience is stunned at the climax, when Ben Bernanke makes no change in the rates.

Afterwards, at a local cafe, viewers excitedly discuss the surprise ending. They realize the mainstream media (MSM) had done a full court press. In lockstep, newspapers and experts had all but declared a “Fed” rate cut to be a done deal. None of the experts were predicting Bernanke would not jump just because Jim Cramer et al. cried “Wolf.” But in true Gary Cooper “High Noon” fashion, Bernanke, a Sagittarian, showed his mettle. Deserted by the town, and aided only by “Rubber Ducky” Greenspan, Bernanke defied Wall Street.

One of the stunned audience of “2:15 To Booma” realized, “Of course! The 'Fed' is not set up to be a heel of Wall Street! The 'Fed' is supposed to be independent. I should have seen this coming!”

In “High Noon” fashion, Bernanke is disgusted with the “town” of running-dog lackeys anyway. If they howl too much, he might toss away his badge and walk away with “Rubber Ducky,” into the sunset.

Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, is not all gas. Underneath, there is a strength of character to be reckoned with. Bernanke, a mensch, scorns the “town” and does according to what he sees as right.
