Bernanke Increases Global Warming

(Conspiracy Nation, 03/26/08) – Ben Bernanke, chief of the “Federal” Reserve, wants to heat up the economy. The problem is that this will increase the evil global warming.

Already, as if in response to Bernanke's shoveling paper dollars into the furnace, Antarctica's massive Wilkins Ice Shelf has begun disintegrating. Wouldn't a deflation be better for the environment? Yet the “greenies” are mum on the subject.

It is well known that Kyoto Accords would lead to lesser economic activity in the U.S. Many persons go so far as to say “global warming” is an international plot against the United States, meant to lower our standard of living. And yet here we have a made-to-order situation: economic deflation leading to decreased industrial output and automatic reduction in use of fossil fuels. Furthermore, struggling households are without urging reducing consumption, thereby supposedly benefiting the environment. Global warming doomsayers ought to be pleased.

Except the “Fed” and now the U.S. government via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are actively counteracting the economic cool-down. Isn't it about time the “greenies” staged a protest about it?
