Three Hard-Luck Candidates
(Conspiracy Nation, 03/05/08) – America must decided between three hard-luck candidates as to who will be the next U.S. president:
John McCain. His hard-luck story is, he was captured by the North Vietnamese and tortured by them for years while a prisoner of war.
Hillary Clinton. Her hard-luck story is, she is a woman, victim of ongoing sexism and male oppression.
Barack Obama. His hard-luck story is, he is a black man and represents former suffering of black slaves and also later discrimination suffering of African-Americans.
Most recently, the Hillary Clinton Hard-Luck Camp has even been complaining that “sexism” is less taboo than “racism” and therefore Hillary has been suffering more than Barack Obama.
Well, it's tough to decide: Who do we feel most sorry for? Conspiracy Nation feels most sorry for the American public, subjected to endless suffering of campaign see-saws.
Also to feel sorry for is Rush “Mr. Zicam” Limbaugh, who is suffering from a cold. Get well soon, Rush. Take plenty of Zicam.
Limbaugh, the controversial Republican radio activist, has lately been getting clever. He has been suggesting, since the McCain nomination is a done deal, that Republican voters go to primaries in their states and – get this – vote for Hillary Clinton! The clever idea is that if Hillary Clinton is nominated, then this will energize Republicans to vote against her (and for Republican McCain) in November. Limbaugh also enjoys the ongoing tussle between the two hard-luck factions in the Democrat Party. He wants the see-saw to continue and for Obama not to score a knock-out punch.
Incidentally, did this editor mention his own unhappy childhood? It's a real hard-luck story...
Also in the hard-luck category is a story-of-the-week about a poor innocent puppy dog supposedly brutalized by a U.S. Marine. This dog news seems suspicious, as if it is a Hal Turner/FBI con job. (Background: “Hal Turner, FBI Agent Provocateur?”, http://www.shout.net/~bigred/HalTurner.html)
Of course it is the men in general who truly have been getting the shaft. Mary gave “virgin birth” to Jesus so “Who needs Joseph?” “Virgin births” are on the comeback, and eventually men will be locked up “sperm donors” called upon for artificial insemination duties when needed.
