“Operation Chaos” Subverts Democratic Process
(Conspiracy Nation, 05/01/08) -- “Operation Chaos”, after a brief respite, is again operational, orders “CINC-USOC” Rush Limbaugh. About 24 hours ago, Limbaugh commanded, “the operational pause is now lifted. Operation Chaos is back at full speed, and we have no change in direction, orders from headquarters remain exactly what they are: You are to go out and sustain the Democrat primary season by virtue of voting for Hillary Clinton.”
Limbaugh's “clever plan” is to have Republican primary voters pretend to be Democrats and vote for Hillary Clinton in state primaries. In the recent Pennsylvania primary, an estimated 100,000 Republicans crossed-over and voted for Hillary Clinton. (“Limbaugh seeks to sow chaos in Democrats' race,” by Carla Marinucci. San Francisco Chronicle, April 27, 2008)
The method to the madness is to extend the “Groundhog Day” of Democrat primary hostilities between the Hillary Clinton faction and the Barack Obama faction. It is hoped by “CINC-USOC” Limbaugh the Democrat Party will be disunited thereby, and that the Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, will have a better chance in the November 2008 election.
To Limbaugh, the democratic process, via which the will of the people is expressed, seems to be some sort of football game. The “Operation Chaos” plan is apparently not illegal, but it does subvert the democratic process. This is “unsportsman-like behavior” by Limbaugh and his “ditto heads.” It trivializes an important matter. To be fair, Limbaugh is not the only one who trivializes the election process. The mainstream media has massively trivialized an important choice by giving huge focus to inconsequential inanities.
Passions run high as to which candidate one supports. Conspiracy Nation goes on the record as supporting Chris Dodd for president. “It's time for Dodd.” Beneath those bushy eyebrows lurks a keen intelligence. In “the Dodd scenario” the Democrat convention is deadlocked between Obama supporters and Clinton supporters. A compromise candidate, Chris Dodd, reunites the Democrat party. Mud-slingers are caught by surprise. They had been geared-up to heave innuendos at either Clinton or Obama. Suddenly they are “out of ammunition” as to character assassination fodder when surprise nominee Dodd emerges. (Background: “Dodd, Sly Fox, Prepares”, http://www.shout.net/~bigred/SlyFox.html)
Not taking sides in the Obama/Clinton dispute, but this conspiracy publication would be beneath its mission not to notice possible skullduggery in the Jeremiah Wright affair. A few months back, Louis Farrakhan of Nation of Islam made a speech where he strongly supported Obama. It would be like Dracula endorsing a candidate. With “friends” like this, Obama needs no enemies. The talk now is that Jeremiah Wright is also a secret Judas. Newt Gingrich, for example, has reportedly “suggested that controversial pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright is angry with parishioner Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and may be deliberately trying to hurt his presidential bid.” Gingrich reportedly stated Wright "went out of his way to weaken Obama" during Monday's address at the National Press Club. (“Gingrich: Wright May Be Deliberately Trying to Hurt Obama”, ABC News' Nitya Venkataraman Reports. April 29, 2008)
Limbaugh, bless his soul, can cause this editor's temperature to rise past boiling at times. It is a mixed bag with the controversial radio host. At times he is much noise signifying little. Other times, though, he has a lot on the ball. Limbaugh theorizes the status quo of black leadership does not want an Obama presidency. The theory is that they have become comfortable, like an old shoe, with the oppressed blacks routine. If Barack Obama became president, it would be harder for them to claim (profitably?) oppression of black Americans.
