The Owl of Minerva

(Conspiracy Nation, 5/4/04) -- The Owl of Minerva links the
Bohemian Grove elite to Yale's Skull & Bones secret society.
How so? Conspiracy Nation is in the process of assembling
the evidence, laid out in the massive, encyclopedic volume, Fleshing Out
Skull & Bones.
The book, edited by Kris Millegan, a close friend of the late Antony
Sutton, is a worthy follow-up to Sutton's classic, America's Secret Establishment,
an underground bestseller. Sutton had laid bare the tremendous power and evil
plans of America's hidden aristocracy in his Skull & Bones expose. Millegan
et al. "flesh out" Skull & Bones, adding substantial meat to Sutton's
original outline.
Unfortunately, Fleshing Out Skull & Bones has no index,
so the hunt for Owl of Minerva evidence will take some time. Here is what
Conspiracy Nation has been able to discern thus far:

Supremacy of the State
Around 1830, Germany was fermenting new ideas consequent to earlier defeat
by Napoleon Bonaparte, the French upstart. German intellectuals, tools of
militarism, decided better soldiers were needed. The ideal would be zombies
marching to certain death with grins on their faces. At the University of
Berlin, Johan Wolfgang Fitche favored the State controlling education of the
young. Succeeding to Fitche's position at the university was Georg Wilhelm
Friedrich Hegel. Hegel preached that the State was "absolute reason" and "freedom"
for the citizen arrived only by worship of and obedience to the State.
As Tom Valentine once noted perceptively during a broadcast of Radio
Free America, it is like people thinking of the government as God. The
government, of course, is not God. Author C.S. Lewis, for example, points
out that, given the existence of a human soul, we are eternal beings. Since
we are eternal, and governments are not, "then the individual is not only
more important but incomparably more important [than the State], for he is
everlasting and the life of a state or a civilization, compared with his,
is only a moment." [1] That would explain, by the way, why the only religion
allowed into the public schools is the anti-religion of atheism. The State
condones (or encourages) the preaching of atheism because atheism undermines
human dignity. With God eliminated, the State fills the vacuum.
Birth of Bones
William Huntington Russell, of the Russell & Company opium-pushing
family, studied in Germany during the abovementioned time of intellectual
ferment. Then, back at Yale University, in 1832 Russell and Alphonso Taft
inaugurated Skull & Bones, a chapter of a German secret society. The German
secret society, in turn, probably originated from the notorious Illuminati,
not eliminated but only driven underground after being banned by the Bavarian
government in 1785. After 1785, "the Illuminati merely regrouped under other
front names..." [2]
One of antichrist Hegel's preachments was on Lordship and Bondage. Since
the State is supreme and the citizens exist only to serve the State, the citizens
are fodder for the State and however they are treated is permissible. The
citizens are in bond (debt) to the State, are property of the State, and
as such are slaves. An elite group, the Lords, merges with the State. We,
the ordinary (extraordinary) people, are at the whim of the Lords, who interpret,
like priests, the Almighty State. Hegel writes, "The self consciousness of
the Lord is essentially related to the being of the mere things he uses and
uses up, and these he enjoys through the bondsman's self consciousness. The
bondsman prepares and arranges things for the enjoyment of the Lord."[3]
Masters Hide New Technology
One of the late Antony Sutton's foci was the development of new technology.
In fact, Sutton began his life in the engineering field. His research into
Soviet technology was what led him toward a growing realization that, in politics,
things were not as they seemed. In his final years, Sutton published a newsletter,
Future Technology Intelligence Report (FTIR), several issues of which
are included in Fleshing Out Skull & Bones.
In the October 2001 issue of FTIR, Sutton looked into the Bush/Cheney energy
plan and the suppression of new technologies, such as cold fusion. It is
beneath the dignity of the Masters to invent; that is the work of the slaves.
The Masters prefer to use up the old technology (like oil) and get every
bit of profit possible before allowing any new technology to surface. They
then monopolize the new technology, which gives them continued profits and
control over the rest of us. Look for nick-of-time, "breakthrough," energy
innovations to "coincidentally" appear just as the oil runs out.
The Owl Of Minerva
The presidential "contest" between John Forbes Kerry (Skull & Bones)
and George W. Bush (Skull & Bones) may be a perverse, insiders' joke,
a sneering at and looking down upon of the bondsmen. The Lords may be laughing
among themselves at their effrontery. Similarly brazen was the assassination
of John F. Kennedy: done in a bold, obvious way to demonstrate how great was
the power of the Lords and how sub-human was the intelligence of the bondsmen.
The Hegelian dialectic of thesis/anti-thesis leading to synthesis is seen
in artificial divisions like "left-wing" and "right-wing," and Democrat vs.
Republican. Writing in 2001, Sutton predicted increasing boldness by the
Lords and the truth becoming ever more obvious.
The Illuminati poison migrated from Europe to America when the Skull &
Bones secret society was formed in 1832. The ideas of its corrupted godfather,
Georg Hegel, moved on from there. The journal of the Hegelian Society in America
is titled, "The Owl of Minerva." A tantalizing link noticed by Sutton is
that this Owl of Minerva is the symbol of Bohemian Grove. Sutton may have
uncovered further suggestive connections. Conspiracy Nation is digging
