Ride The Tiger
(Conspiracy Nation, 01/24/08) -- Notorious Italian Traditionalist Julius Evola (1898-1974) advised, "Ride the tiger." For, "as long as one keeps sitting on top of the running beast, one need not fear its claws and teeth." (“Racetrack Fans Demand Intervention,” http://www.shout.net/~bigred/RacetrackFans.html). Evola has unsavory connections in his past, but he himself would say his ideas are what matters and not “Evola.” The idea of riding the tiger involves the Kali-Yuga, the present Dark Age.
Once, in pre-history, there was a Golden Age. It was followed by a Silver Age, evincing lunar spirituality as contrasted with solar (gold) spirituality. The Bronze Age was an over-reaction against the Silver Age. The Bronze Age is the time of giants, the wolf, the Luciferian revolt, and Prometheus stealing fire from the gods. “The last age is the Iron Age, or, according to the corresponding Hindu term, the Dark Age (Kali Yuga). This age includes every deconsecrated civilization, every civilization that knows and extols only what is human and earthly.” (“The Mystery Of The Grail,” by Julius Evola. Rochester, VT: Inner Traditions, 1997)
Some people “belong to the wrong time.” These types represent the other ages (Golden, Silver, Bronze) and are out-of-place living here, now, in the Kali-Yuga. Evola speaks to such persons, offering a “testimony” for “those who are different”: l'uomo differenziato. For those “who are different”, Evola emphasized that these different persons should not turn their backs on the world. On the contrary, they should seat themselves on the back of this ferocious, predatory world. They should ride the tiger. (“A Short Introduction To Julius Evola,” by H.T. Hansen. From, “Revolt Against The Modern World”, by Julius Evola. Rochester, VT: Inner Traditions, 1995)
Reportedly, Evola focused on the “Ride the Tiger” theme in another book, “Cavalcare la Tigre (Ride the Tiger).”
The year 2012 marks the precession of the equinoxes, which only occurs every 25,000 years or so. This equates with the Hindu time cycles, called Yugas, one of which "completes in synchrony with the Mayan end date." The year 2012, writes Moira Timms, means, "The beginning is near." ("Destination Galactic Center," from Forbidden History by J. Douglas Kenyon, editor. Further background: “Market Apocalypto”, http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Apocalypto.html).
The year 2012 is not the “end of the world.” It is the beginning of the world. Or rather, 2012 marks the end of their Kali-Yuga world, which ought not distress l'uomo differenziato (those who are different). So, to the Kali-Yuga persons who do belong to this time, G. De Giorgio sits atop the tiger and exclaims, “Go ahead! Achieve all your goals! Break all the dams! Faster! You are unbound. Go ahead and fly with faster wings, with an ever greater pride for your achievements, with your conquests, with your empires, with your democracies. The pit must be filled; there is a need for fertilizer for the new tree that will grow out of your collapse.” (qtd. in “Revolt Against The Modern World”, op. cit.)
“The only thing that matters today,” in this Kali-Yuga increasing acceleration, “is the activity of those who can 'ride the wave' and remain firm in their principles, unmoved by any concessions and indifferent to the fevers, the convulsions, the superstitions, and the prostitutions that characterize modern generations.” Only l'uomo differenziato “may be totally fearless and able to see in the fate of the modern world nothing different or more tragic than the vain arising and consequential dissolution of a thick fog, which cannot alter or affect in any way the free heaven.” (“Revolt Against The Modern World”, op. cit.)
A further acceleration toward ultimate decay has been marked by the January 2008 entrance of Jupiter into Capricorn, ruled by Saturn and signifying contraction. In desperation, the Kali-Yugers have been frantically shoveling paper dollars into the furnace, trying to stay warm. The trigger for the latest “Federal” Reserve action of burning dollars to maintain heat was, according to Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, “the move on Friday by Fitch to strip the US monoline insurer AMBAC of its 'AAA' rating, with the mounting risk that the rating agencies would soon downgrade its bigger peer, MBIA.” AMBAC and MBIA had guaranteed much of the $2.4 trillion bond market. If their ratings sank, that in turn would have damaged bond ratings and caused “a large number of pension funds and institutions under strict investment rules to sell their bonds, setting off a cascade of sales with no obvious buyers in sight.” (“The Fed did not panic”, London Telegraph, Jan. 23, 2008)
Evans-Pritchard, usually a fine reporter, has unfortunately succumbed to Kali-Yugaism, a belief that the decaying cycle must be kept on life support. The “Fed” had to prevent “a disaster,” he argues. At any rate, shoveling money into the furnace will not work, not in the long run. L'uomo differenziato understands. Faster! Break all the dams! You are unbound. It cannot affect or alter in any way the free heaven. The pit must be filled; there is a need for fertilizer for the new tree that will grow out of your collapse.
