Sensitive Tiger Taunted Into
Torment
(Conspiracy Nation, 01/03/08)
-- "Protect The Animals" signs are being placed in the San Francisco
zoo, site of a deadly tiger attack. "Please remember they [the animals]
are sensitive and have feelings," the signs read, in part. This echoes
yesterday's Conspiracy Nation
report, which traced bee sensitivity to Colony Collapse Disorder, the
high-falutin' name given to something the "scientists" do not
understand. The "scientists," like Old Testament sorcerors, seek to
control the demon by learning its name. ("At The Zoo," http://www.shout.net/~bigred/Zoo.html)
A dividing line, symptomatic of polarization, is forming around the
case of the Christmas Carnivore Catastrophe. One side boo-hoos for the
poor, misunderstood tiger. The other side says this is a mask used to
hide zoo negligence. The mainstream media, typically, sides with the
tiger.
The Christmas zoo afternoon of horror has been portrayed as tiger
bullying by mischievous youths. Then, a new angle, the too-low
enclosing wall, appeared. An attorney representing victims of the
attack, Mark Geragos, came forward. He says very disturbing facts are
yet to be made known about the Christmas incident.
The Conspiracy Nation radar
detects a cover-up. One of the blips is Zoo spokesman Sam Singer's
statement regarding Geragos: "I never speculate on defense attorney
hypotheses." Geragos is not a "defense" attorney. Geragos will likely
be suing the zoo for negligence.
Tiger attack disinformation is being shoveled out faster than Benazir
Bhutto conspiracy theories: A footprint on the ledge; a vodka bottle in
the car; heroic zoo employees. And, adds Conspiracy Nation, where was O.J.
Simpson at the time? Was he anywhere in the vicinity?
Disinformation about a "recommended minimum" enclosure height keeps
being reiterated. We keep being told the wall was 4 feet too low. But,
demands one commentator, "According to the AZA there is no stated
height for large cat enclosures. So... Stop reporting that the SF Zoo
enclosure was shorter than standard." (Comment posted by "Ed" in "New
details of tiger attack released," by Penni Gladstone. SF Chronicle,
Dec. 29, 2007. "Ed" gives as reference, http://www.aza.org/Newsroom/PR_TigerAccred/)
And speaking of vodka bottles, was there a festive atmosphere among zoo
employees that Christmas day at the zoo? It is assumed the tiger leaped
over the enclosure somehow. More likely is a mundane explanation:
someone goofed. Speculated is a few drinks caused carelessness in cage
locking. Early reports were that several tigers had escaped. Did they
all take a giant leap that one day?
There is also of course some obvious symbolism. The solstices and
equinoxes often coincide with bizarre news. Last Christmas season it
was the botched hanging of Saddam Hussein. This symbolized the Tarot
"hanged man" card. The 2007 Winter Solstice tiger attack symbolizes the
Rider-Waite Tarot card "Strength" (trump card viii, showing a woman
overpowering a lion through gentleness). Divinatory meaning: energy,
action, courage (also despotism, abuse of power, and discord, when the
card is reversed.) That is the crux of the matter: is the card
reversed? It is being decided now, as is who will be president. Who
wins? The human or the tiger?
