Into The Valley Of Death

(Conspiracy Nation, 10/07/07) – The six hundred members of the Light Brigade were poised to enter the Valley of Death. They knew someone had blundered in giving them the order. It would be a slaughter.

Some Liberals were there. They said, “No, no. Don't go into the Valley of Death.”

Rush Limbaugh was there. The generals sent him propaganda cliches via secret messenger. El Rushbo kept saying, “How can you support the troops but not support the mission?”

The noble six hundred knew someone had blundered. But theirs was not to reason why, theirs not to make reply, theirs but to do and die.

The Liberals, tarred-and-feathered by now, vainly tried to stop the Charge of the Light Brigade. Flag-waving loudmouths shouted them down: “How can you support the troops but not support the mission!?” yelled the ditto-heads.

Into the Valley of Death rode the six hundred. Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell.

Then they rode back, but not – not the six hundred.

It was sad. But it was learned how you can support the troops but not support the mission.
