(Melchizedek Communique, MC030610) Does this image (left) show Jesus being smuggled out the back door of the tomb? All are confident they know the "true meaning" of Biblical events. Even atheists claim certainty. But with the world situation looking really bad, it is hardly surprising if thoughts turn to the last days.

How bad is it? It is so bad, people look to 2012 with perverse hope: If the world ends, at least they won't be unemployed.

How bad is it? It is so bad, Melchizedek Communique ponders various Biblical interpretations, having lost Earthly hope.

Joseph of Arimathea was a close friend of Pontius Pilate, reportedly states the Gospel of Peter. His tomb, lent to Jesus, had a second, secret entrance. On the cross, Jesus had been given snake poison which made it seem he had died. This snake poison was administered in the guise of a sponge, filled with vinegar. [1]

Smuggled out of the tomb and revived, Jesus reunited with Mary Magdalene, Mary Salome, and other members of his family. They were taken aboard ships owned by wealthy merchant Joseph of Arimathea, and landed on the southern coast of France. Barbara Thiering, an Australian scholar, reportedly "regards nearly everything in the gospels as a coded version of what actually occurred." [2]

Michael Baigent, in "The Jesus Papers" (HarperCollins, 2006), broaches a similar idea. Pontius Pilate, the Roman administrator, had a problem: Jesus had broken no Roman law. Jesus, when asked whether taxes should be paid to Caesar, essentially had said, "Yes, pay the taxes." The Zealots, a Jewish religious faction, were furious at the perceived betrayal by "King Jesus." It was at this point, speculates Baigent, that Judas, of the Zealot faction, arranged in turn to betray Jesus. It was a dilemma for Pilate: "...to keep the peace he had to try, condemn, and execute a Jew who was supporting Rome but whose existence was causing public disorder, the flames of which were being fanned by the disgruntled Zealots." And so, theorizes Baigent, a deal was worked out. The "fixer" for the deal was Joseph of Arimathea. The crucifixion of Jesus would be faked. Jesus would be only apparently killed by the Roman government.

James the Just, believed to have been the brother of Jesus, became successor to the planned "King Jesus." James was "deeply involved" with the Zealots. [2] (Today we would call a similar faction "the Extremists.") He headed the Jerusalem Church, but when he was killed circa 62 A.D., tensions escalated, culminating in the siege of Masada circa 73 A.D. There, Belial's forces defeated the forces of Yahweh and Yahweh was exiled from this planet, in the conception of Philip K. Dick. Since that time, we have in fact been living on a prison planet. Some object to inclusion of the ideas of Philip K. Dick -- he was, after all, a science fiction writer. But there is nothing fictional about the epiphany experienced by Philip K. Dick in 1974. "For over a month, February to March, Dick watched as his whole universe collapsed..." It was replaced by "a series of hypothetical or virtual universes." Dick came to realize we all suffer from "the greatest false memory case in history, imposed on all humanity, from which he had partially awakened." In truth, after Masada, the empire never ended. "We have been brainwashed by the Roman Empire..." [3]

Yahweh had been exiled from the Earth. But it is speculated a "divine invasion" has recently begun. (Background: "Divine Invasion Has Begun", http://www.shout.net/~bigred/mc022210.html) Soon after Melchizedek Communique published this speculation, a tremendous earthquake struck Chile. Then a 6.4 magnitude quake hit Taiwan. Now, "Japan is bracing itself after dozens of rare giant oarfish - traditionally the harbinger of a powerful earthquake - have been washed ashore or caught in fishermen's nets." [4] A mysterious image of a coiled snake has appeared in a 16th century painting of Queen Elizabeth I. [5] And the "Vatican has been thrown into chaos by reports that one of the Pope's ceremonial ushers, as well as a member of the elite Vatican choir, were involved in a homosexual prostitution ring."
