(Melchizedek Communique, MC051909) An acceleration of lies is noticed these past few months.

Heretofore, the lies coming from what is termed The Combination (government and apparatchiks, including especially the propaganda machine) were heard as a background hum. Lately this has noticeably increased to a staccato "pow! pow! pow!" -- a now-daily "drip, drip, drip" of lies intensifying!

The acceleration of lies increases as the economy deteriorates and band-aids from The Combination are shown ineffective.

One small aspect of this recent acceleration of lies is heard on radio as a "chirpy happy uptick" or "chirpy happy lilt" given at the start of some broadcasts. This hard-to-describe voice inflection occurred, for example, yesterday at the top of the National Public Radio (NPR) afternoon news hour. Giving the summary ahead of the in-depth news, the announcer's voice held its own subtext: "I am so gosh darn happy! (Why aren't you?)"

This acceleration of lies these past few months was also noticed today (May 18, 2009) by controversial radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh described the phenomena as Orwellian "Newspeak."

The hidden meaning of the word, "Rush", incidentally, is given by Emmanuel Swedenborg (1688 - 1772) as, "what is of low value, but nevertheless derived from truth." [1]

The "lightbulb" went on in this editor's mind last week while reading Swedenborg's explanation of Exodus 1: 22: "And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive."

Deeper, hidden meaning in the Bible has been reported upon previously by Melchizedek Communique, in an examination of the story of Isaac's wells. Wells dug by Isaac were quarreled over, the wells signifying deep truths and the quarrels signifying disagreements regarding doctrinal matters. [2]

The Law of Correspondences (as above, so below) is woven into Bible stories. From the most ancient times, before the Noachian Flood, the church had been in the land of Canaan. This was not because that land itself was more especially holy, but because "all the places there -- provinces and cities, and mountains and rivers -- had been representative of such things as belong to the Lord's kingdom..." [3]

By "Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river" is meant, in the esoteric sense, "that they should immerse in falsities all truths which appear..." [4]

In an earlier report, Melchizedek Communique had considered President Barack Obama to be the "last of the Pharaohs." [5] Then, having already noticed a recent acceleration of lies coming from The Combination, this editor encountered Swedenborg's explanation of Exodus 1: 22: that the "sons" (truths) being cast into "the river" (falsities) denotes "that they should immerse in falsities all truths which appear..." [6]

The Pharaoh (Barack Obama) ordered that the sons (truths) were to be immersed in falsities (the river). An acceleration of lies is noticed these past few months.
