Image: Robert Burns in Masonic garb. Apologies if link has expired.(Melchizedek Communique, MC121809) President Barack Obama is flying to Copenhagen. "Here I come, to save the day!" (That means that Mighty O is on his way. -- Background: "Mighty O Is On His Way!", http://www.shout.net/~bigred/mc121509.html)

Reggie Love, Obama's handler, sits beside him on Air Force One. Mr. Love hands Obama a poem by Robert Burns, beginning sequence activation for the Mighty O's subconscious unit cells. (This is like the original Manchurian Candidate movie, starring Frank Sinatra, where the trigger mechanism is in a deck of cards. When the Queen of Diamonds turns up, the hypno-programmed subject awaits instructions.)

"Why don't you pass the time reading a Robert Burns poem?" suggests Mr. Love. The Mighty O automatically begins to read.

Wee, sleeket, cowran, tim'rous beastie,
O, what panic's in thy breastie!

The Mighty O reads on, until he reaches the activation line:

But Mousie, thou are no thy-lane,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men,
Gang aft agley...

"I await instructions," says the Mighty O.

Love replies with the code words, "This comes from the Scottish laird," and proceeds with a message from Al Gore, via subalterns.

"There seems to be only one thing that can unite us as a species: a common enemy. In Hollywood movies, it's the aliens." [1]

"Remember the words of Ronaldo Magnus: 'I've often wondered, what if all of us in the world discovered that we were threatened by an outer -- a power from outer space, from another planet? Wouldn't we all of a sudden find that we didn't have any differences between us at all, we were all human beings, citizens of the world, and wouldn't we come together to fight that particular threat?" [2]

Numbly, the Mighty O responds, "We are Citizens of the World, saith Reagan."

Love concludes, "Now we have a very real common enemy, one that must be fought globally. As with the nuclear arms race of the Cold War, some countries are more to blame than others. Yet the whole world could be paying a price. We now have a global 'Warm War' to fight." [1]

Mighty O: "We are Citizens of the World, saith Reagan."

Reggie Love: "Thus saith the Scottish laird."
