Welcome to the new & improved Jazz & Blues News, the newsletter
of the Champaign-Urbana Jazz & Blues Association. CUJBA was formed in
the summer of 1991 (see goals on page ??) and has been bringing you the
Jazz & Blues News on a regular basis since October 1991. This issue
marks a new departure as we team-up with The Octopus, to bring you all your
favorite features with a brand new look. The CUJBA Jazz & Blues News
will appear every other month as a special insert in The Octopus, so keep
your eyes open. As always, we welcome your comments and contributions (see
page 2 for details) as well as your membership (see page ??).
CUJBA also now has a site on the world wide web http://www.shout.net/~cujba/

1997 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center, Urbana. We look forward
to our new venue and will soon be announcing our Special Jazz Headliner
and other bands. Check out our next newsletter for more details and our
