Exterior materials of the shed shaped structure reflect the images of local farm buildings and include galvanized corrugated siding and metal roofing along with rough sawn larch siding and stone. The small paned windows were a hold over from the un-built timber frame design. In the crotch of the L, adjacent to the dining alcove, a stone-faced terrace provides ample space for summer entertaining.
The simple restrained interiors consist of acid-etched polished concrete floors with radiant heat throughout and natural cherry cabinetry.
