Labor Day Parade and Picnic

This year's Champaign County AFL-CIO Labor Day Parade is set for Monday, 3 September. The parade starts at 10:00 am in the parking lot of Urbana's Lincoln Square Mall. All GEO members, family, and friends are welcome to join us and our union brothers and sisters in this annual celebration of the importance of our work! Children who dress as a clown for the parade will receive a free gift.

The parade ends in Prairie Park, 1202 E. Washington, Urbana, and will be followed by a Picnic. There will be free food and beer/sodas for all who come, as well as games for kids.

Meet the GEO parade contingent a few minutes before 10am in the Lincoln Square Mall parking lot. Wear your GEO shirt!
