Paul Jenkins
1963 - 2011

Rest in Peace

Jenkins, Paul Isan David Born February 19, 1963, in Deland, FL, passed away May 31st at 1:48 a.m. at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley, IL. He was only 48 at the time of his passing. He was proud to be a veteran of the US Army serving from April 1982 until July 1985, when he was honorably discharged to care for his mother.

He was preceded in death by his beloved Mother, Kristine Ann Bullock Jenkins Santillanes of Aurora, IL and his Father, Jessie Lee Jenkins of Florida. He leaves behind his wife, Laura A. Jenkins (23 years together), his children: Jessica, Josie and Jacob. Also his Uncle, Donald L. Bullock of Aurora, IL, whom he cared for very much.

After he became disabled in 2000, he became active in the 1/6th Scale Action Figure hobby, both collecting, customizing and running a small e-store which will now remain closed. Per Paul's direct request, there was no visitation. Barto's Funeral Home of Spring Valley handled the cremation. The family would like to express our appreciation to family and friends who have helped hold us up during this difficult time.

Speaking for the club, I would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Laura and her family. It was our great honor and privilege to have known Paul, even if only for such a short time. His kindness and generosity will forever be remembered by all of us here at the Central Illinois GIjOE Collector's Club. --- Mark Otnes
