Welcome to the collection
of
Some deal with the DC 13'' figs and some with their smaller counterparts. The Batman case has a custom Keaton Bats in it but I'll be making another one for the DC 13'' Bats. I've also made some displays for my HT Supes and Clark, HT Rocky and Clubber and HT Robocop. Since I've just recently gotten into (OK, DEEPLY into) 1/6th scale action figures, I'll be making more displays tailored to that scale in the future. I don't have any tutorials to offer, but I can tell you that the tools you'll need to proceed are a table saw, miter saw, scroll saw, band saw or jig saw, router table and bits. An orbital sander and edge sander comes in handy as well. You could probably get by with just a few of those tools but that's what I use. For wood, I use mixture of solid maple and maple plywoods for the backs, sides, top and bottom. For the superhero symbols, I carefully cut them out with a scroll saw from the high quality 1/8'' and 1/4'' plywood. The fronts of the display cases are sheets of clear Lucite (it's stronger than plexi-glass and NON-yellowing) that I buy from Lowes. I use Krylon brand paints for the final finish. Hope you like'em! ---Adam Falk
