What got me started was a trip to the local Toys r Us back in 96. I saw the (then) new D-Day Joe and I was hooked. I quickly became interested in collecting Vintage Joe's and I go a little advice from James Desimone. He was an interesting person to talk to. He gave me the usual info "try eBay, yard sales, etc." and he was right. I've had my best luck on eBay. As I got more into collecting I discovered the "sandbox" on the internet, also known as alt.toys.gi-joe, an online discussion group that is a wide source of knowledge and a good way to get into the world-wide Joe collecting community. Finally, I joined my local GI Joe Club. I haven't been that active of a member, but, I do go to the shows. ---Christopher Tucci Christopher uses really nice woodgrain shelves with the edges and poles in black. The woodgrain compliments the GIjOE packaging. Smart! This is just a great picture. Something about that proud, defiant look...those amber goggles...those brightly colored boxes.
