Cool Links
That you should know about!
Sure,
there are a lot of links pages out there. Some are downright
HUGE. gijoelinks.com
comes quickly to mind, right? Well, those "mega-lists"
are fine if you have the time to work your way through them,
maybe finally finding the one or two sites you really like. So
we thought, wouldn't it be great if the BEST ones were on ONE
list? Well, here they are.
We're sure you'll be interested
in the carefully selected links shown on this page or we wouldn't
have bothered. All are content-rich resource sites that can help
you enjoy your collection more right now. Sites that are geared
toward individuals (like you) who are working on or setting up
a GIjOE Collection.
We've carefully hand-picked and
screened all of these sites for functionality and and helpful
content. So browse around and see WHY you should know about these
other websites. And please notify Mark
at GIjOE Collections if you find a link that no longer works
or if you'd like us to consider a website to be included on this
webpage. And remember, we do not receive (nor accept) any financial
contributions for inclusion on this list. The descriptions and
opinions are unsolicited and are our own. Enjoy!

Discussion Groups & Forums
You Should Know About
Talk to others--about what you love
to talk about!
(Groups are available for
fans of GIjOE, Dragon, Major Matt Mason, etc.)
The Sandbox
This is the world's #1
GIjOE discussion group. It's a highly-rated, venerable and wide-open
Google group with archives of past threads going all the way
back to 1995 (so you know it's the place to read and be read).
It's also the friendliest place on the 'net to discuss Joes and
action figures in general (unless a "troll" tries to
stir up trouble) and there are no subject limitations. You can't
post photos, but you can post a link to an image you want to
share and the gang will find it in a flash. So enjoy!

The Dragon's Den
This is the exclusive
forum for fans of Dragon-Models 1:6 scale action figures ONLY.
As you might suspect, they're really serious about detail and
some of their discussions may fly right over you, but they're
there to help. So jump right in and check 'em out!

The GIjOE Realm
This is an exclusive
forum for fans of the small scale GIjOE action figures including
the RAH and Sigma Six lines. Nice graphics, simple to use. Very
active and lively place to discuss your "Little Joes"
(no, not the guy from Bonanza!).

One-Sixth Warriors

The Sixth Division
This forum caters to
the hard-core WW2 1:6 realists out there. You know who you are.
You love to get that tiny button just right, match that helmet
netting perfectly with the original, sew in tiny details that
only a microscope can see. You know, the perfectionists! Great
forum with tons of helpful threads you can read for months and
never catch up. Enjoy!

The Trenches
After the Sandbox, this
is probably the most popular place to discuss 1:6 scale. The
main difference (besides format) is that you can post photos
to this forum. All the cutesy avatars, happy face icons and other
stuff can quickly become tiresome and seem pretty juvenile at
times, but the Trenches have a steady following nonetheless.
Some browsers may find it a little buggy as well, but try it
out. Many discussion threads are unique to this site.
