As a kid, I think I had just about every original GIjOE figure & set, but the majority of them were given away or thrown out as I grew older. I did manage to keep several of my original Joes, including my first (a brown painted hair Action Soldier). My interest in the hobby was rekindled sometime in the late 1990s when I saw an Ultimate Soldier Fallschirmjager on the shelf of a local toy store. I jumped headfirst into collecting and kitbashing from that point on. Other than GIjOEs and 1:6 scale action figures, my primary interests are Law Enforcement, especially K-9 'bashes, and Vietnam era figures. I am not brand specific, but enjoy collecting them all. At last count I had approximately 490 figures, both boxed and displayed. I'm a police officer and K-9 handler with the Burlington PD. Imagine the modern Iraq diorama you could do with all these guys. WOW. More state-of-the-art modern warriors at the ready. And even more! Joe's using a simple peg board and L-bracket shelving system here. Simple, but it does the job well. OK...there's BBi, Dragon, and more here. Nice box collection too, Joe.
