Our division's been around since February 1999 and we've had a meeting (almost) every month since! Let's start off Rick's Vietnam Base Camp diorama by asking him this question: "WHERE can we get a cool tent like that?" It's huge! You could make anything out of that. A mess tent, a MASH hospital, you name it. Nice setup here. But what's with that soldier on the right? Too many recon patrols? GRRRR! This shot has an almost cinematic quality to it. You're looking from the Viet Cong's perspective as he sneaks up to the unsuspecting base camp. Hey! Look out, Joes! Another closeup shot of the custom tent reveals just how well it's constructed. Check it out. It even has clear windows STITCHED into place like the real thing. The material is even real tent material. Well, looks like "Charlie" didn't give this group too much trouble.
