I'm 42 years old, a painting contractor by trade and a volunteer firefighter for over 23 years with the Yantic Fire Engine Co. No 1. I remember having many vintage GIjOEs as a child, but as we all know, children do not take very good care of their toys and my original Joes and vehicles are now long gone. About 5 years ago, I started to repurchase the relics of my youth online. Call me silly (and maybe I'm trying to relive my childhood), but I am just am CRAZY about GIjOEs........Go JOE! These are pictures of my collection, mostly vintage GIjOEs with a few modern repros (currently around 40 Joes total and 8 vehicles). I have the original Search for the Mummy ATV, Seawolf submarine, a repro Space Capsule (black painted version), an original space capsule (non glowing version), Devil of the Deep Set, Adventure Team helicopter, Trouble Shooter set and a knock-off WWII Motorcycle.
