Doug Pohorski has been performing on the Acoustic and electric Bass in the Bay Area for over 15 years with a host of instrumentalists and vocalists, including recording artists Michelle Hendricks, John Stowell, and Sylvia Cuenca. He has played at several jazz festivals including Monterey, San Jose, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Doug performs with many Bay Area Jazz artists such as, Mark Levine, Shanna Carlson, Harvey Wainapel, Scott Morris, Sue Crosman, Jennifer Lee, Denise Perrier, Daria, Christine Catura, Darryl Rowe, Wally Schnalle, Anton Schwartz, Bob Johnson, and many others.

Doug is a versatile artist whose background includes a variety of jazz styles including Bebop, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian styles, and he can be seen playing at many Bay Area Jazz clubs and Hotels.
